How Dogs Lifted Our Spirits In 2022

About The Episode

To close out 2022, we're excited to share an episode with highlights from all the amazing guests we’ve had the pleasure of speaking with throughout the year.

As we faced a transitional year of moving back to “normal” life, one thing that has only deepened over this time is the strong sense of connection that we have with our dogs. It's an important support system that gives our lives a consistent foundation of reliability, unconditional love, comfort, humor, and companionship.

This year we continued to bring different angles to the episodes, bringing on scientific experts and journalists to speak to the reasons behind our strong bonds, nature lovers who love nothing more than to be in the wilderness with their canine companions, and book authors who find inspiration for stories through the human-to-dog dynamic.

We also launched a special new spinoff podcast series this Fall called Dog Walk Meditation – guided by our very own, John Bartlett, a certified meditation teacher. You can visit www.dogwalkmeditation.com to learn more and listen to Season 1 in full. These episodes are designed to listen to while on a walk with your dog, to calm your mind and connect together in an even deeper manner.

In the upcoming year, we are excited as always to bring you more engaging conversations with all kinds of dog parents around the world. Thank you to all who listen to the show and help us spread the word.

And if you have a great dog-related story or know someone who does, then please reach out to us at bark@dogsavethepeople.com.

See you all in 2023!
